Il Fienile is part of a farmhouse built in the late 1800s and recently renovated. It is located in a unpolluted valley full of water and at the foot of the Cornate park. To get to the house you have to drive 600 meters along a white road in the middle of a wood and get over a bridge. The decor of the Fienile is in shabby style. The house is on two floors connected by a spiral staircase for a total of 50 square meters. The water in the house comes from a well. For use in the kitchen and in the bathroom the owners provide also free bottles of water for guests. By choice of the owners there are no television or even wifi. But there is also a swing for the children and the possibility of observing the stars. Among other things, Gerfalco is recognized as one of the places with less light pollution in Europe. In the farmhouse there are a dog and two cats that, however, do not have access to the house for guests. Il Fienile has an independent access with relative outdoor space to eat and relax area (with umbrella and armchairs). We are at the antipodes of the city's chaos. And we are not even in a village overly exploited for tourism purposes. Here the places have not yet been contaminated, the noises and smells are authentic. And nature can express all its energy.
